2. Research and Teaching Experience:

For over three decades and more, pursuing research interest in the field of Biophysical chemistry of proteins with an emphasis on Structure – Function and stability of proteins/ enzymes and protein-ligand interactions. Over the last 20 years distinctive contribution is in the field of plant proteins, protein-ligand interactions, thermodynamics and stability of proteins / enzymes under various conditions.

Guiding students’ for their Ph.D. Degree in the area of Biochemistry has contributed to academic capabilities. It has been possible to impart leadership in the development of technologies on oilseed processing and utilization. These studies have lead to the understanding of structure and function of many of the enzymes of relevance to food processing.
